Account and Data Deletion
Effective date: June 15, 2026
Conoti lets users delete their own account and data.
Deleting in the app
- Open the Conoti app and go to the Settings tab at the bottom
- Go to the Account section
- Select Delete account and confirm as prompted
Account deletion cannot be undone. If you sign in again afterward with the same social account, a new account is created; the rooms and announcements of the previous account are not restored. Please back up anything you need before proceeding.
Requesting by email
If you cannot access the app, email eldyeojh@gmail.com and tell us which sign-in method you used (Google / Apple / Kakao); we will delete your account after verifying your identity.
What happens immediately
- Notifications stop — the push tokens of all your registered devices are deactivated, so no notification is sent to you after withdrawal.
- You leave every room — you are removed from the participant list of every room you were in, and you are excluded from those rooms' notification recipients.
- Your scheduled and recurring announcements stop — every scheduled announcement, recurring announcement, and personal schedule you had set up is stopped and is not sent after withdrawal. Scheduled and recurring announcements set up by the other people who remain in the same room are left running.
- Rooms you used alone are deleted — a room with no participant other than you is deleted together with its announcements and attachments.
- External AI integration (MCP) access keys are revoked — any external AI you had connected immediately loses its access.
- Your social sign-in identifier is anonymized — you can no longer sign in to the withdrawn account. You may sign up again with the same social account, but that creates a new account.
Data that is destroyed (30 days after withdrawal)
When you withdraw membership, your personal information is retained for 30 days from the withdrawal date and then destroyed by a method that makes recovery impossible. Those 30 days exist so that an accidental withdrawal can be identified; during that time the account stays locked and cannot be used to sign in or use the Service. The following is then destroyed.
- Account identification information and profile (nickname, email, profile image)
- The nickname you used inside rooms and your device identification information
- AI Noti conversation history, push tokens, and notification settings
- External AI integration (MCP) access keys and their call logs
Data that is retained (exceptions)
- Payment and contract records that must be preserved under applicable laws, such as the E-Commerce Act, are stored separately for the statutory period (5 years) and then destroyed.
- Rooms where other participants remain are kept in order to protect their announcements and records. In a room you owned, one notice telling the remaining participants that the owner deleted their account is left behind, and the scheduled and recurring announcements set up by those remaining participants keep being sent.
- Announcements and comments you had already published in such a room are also the records of the people who remain, so they are not deleted; only the author is shown as (withdrawn member).
- Usage statistics and billing aggregates processed so that no individual can be identified may remain after destruction.
Processing time
In-app deletion is processed immediately, so everything under “What happens immediately” above applies on the spot, and destruction of personal information is carried out 30 days later. Email requests are processed within about 3 business days after identity verification, and the 30 days are counted from that point.
